By Our Staff Reporter Bhopal, Nov 3: In Gunga Police Station area a passenger bus and a truck had head on collision on Tuesday morning. In this accident 17 people were grievously injured. The injured passengers have been admitted to a hospital for treatment where their condition is stable. In this connection the police have registered a case of negligent driving against bus and truck drivers and started further proceedings. According to police passenger bus (MP-04 S-7954) was going towards Berasia from Bhopal and there were more than 50 passengers in the bus. On way a truck (MP-09 KD-8902) coming to Bhopal from Berasia collided with the bus near Eitkhedi. In the head on collision 17 passengers were injured. On receiving information police reached at the site of incident and took out passengers from the bus and got them admitted to hospital. Police are investigating the matter.
Students duped on the pretext of job In TT Nagar Police Station area a case has come to light where five students of engineering college duped their two friends of Rs 1.50 lakh on the pretext of providing them job. In this connection police have registered a fraud case and proceeded with its future proceedings. According to police Balvir Singh son of KP Singh lives at Radio Colony situated near Bhadbhada Road. Last year he did engineering course from Thakral College and he was looking for a job. During the course of time a friend said that he has good contacts in Telecom company and he can arrange a job for him there. The friend said that to get the job he would have to spend some money. Getting convinced by his friend Balvir gave him Rs 70000. Later Balvir got Rs 70000 arranged from his another friend Robin Tripathi for the job. This amount was deposited last year in the months of June and July in two accounts in State Bank and ICICI. Many appointments were made in telecom companies but name of Balvir and Robin did not feature in the list. Later when they demanded their money back then the accused tried to neglect the issue and said that the money is with other four friends. Then the complainant went to police station and filed a complaint and demanded probe into matter. After probing the matter police have registered a fraud case against the accused Ashwani Pagare, Shyam, Harish, Ajay and Jitendra.
Two thefts in 24 hours In Kamla Nagar Police Station area looters targeted a vacant house in broad daylight in Monday and decamped with gold, silver jewellery and cash. After this incident the hooligans broke the lock of another house and decamped with gold and silver jewellery. In both these cases police have registered theft cases and started searching the hooligans. According to police Revaram is a peon in MANIT. On Monday afternoon he had gone for work. In the meanwhile hooligans broke the lock of his house and decamped with gold, silver jewellery and Rs 30000 cash. In another incident on Monday night thieves broke the lock of a house, which was vacant and decamped with gold, silver jewellery whose cost is Rs 90000. Police revealed that Rajendra Sharma resident of Royal Homes works in a private company. On Monday he had gone out for some private work. In the meanwhile looters looted his house. In both these cases police went to the site of theft and examined the place but they were clueless. Police maintain that they would nab the thieves soon.
Minor dies under suspicious conditions In Kamla Nagar area a minor girl died under suspicious circumstances on Tuesday evening. There were marks of wounds on the body of the girl. The family members of the deceased did not send the body for post-mortem. Police have registered a case in this connection and started future proceedings. According to police Manisha (15) daughter of Manirao used to live in Kolar Colony. Today evening she was returning after doing work suddenly she fainted. Her family members took her to a private hospital where doctors declared her brought dead. When police looked at her body they found marks of wound on her body. Still the family members of the girl did not get her post-mortem done. They family members of the deceased girl gave to police in writing that they do not want to get the post mortem of the girl done. Later police handed over the body to family members without getting post-mortem done.
Theft in BU law dept In Barkatullah University thieves broke the lock of Law Department and decamped with goods worth thousands of rupees. Police have registered a case against the thieves. According to police Kalluram Jagate son of Kaniram is posted on the post of peon in Law Department of BU. He gave an application to police stating that last night hooligans broke the lock of Law Department and stole the computer and other goods kept inside whose cost is Rs 5000. Police have registered a theft case in this connection.
Abatement to suicide case on neighbour Under the jurisdiction of Govindpura Police a minor girl committed suicide by pouring kerosene on herself and setting herself ablaze. In this connection a case of abatement to suicide has been registered against a youth. Police have started searching the accused. Police registered this case when the family members of the deceased came for public hearing and gave an application to officers. According to police Ramsevak son of Ram Sajevan lives in Anna Nagar slum area. On October 31 his 16-year-old daughter Khushbo burnt herself after pouring kerosene on her. She was admitted to hospital for treatment where she died. Bereaved family members of the girl have levelled allegation on their neighbour Salim that he had molested the girl. Therefore getting fed up of molestation she committed suicide. Police have registered a case and started search of the accused.
