United News of India
Guna,  Sept 7:
Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industries Jyotiraditya Scindia today claimed that the Congress will emerge victorious in the byelections to Gohad and Tendukeda assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh.
Talking to reporters at Myana village in this district, Mr Scinida alleged that the BJP was misusing government machinary during the bypoll. However, the Congress will win from the two seats.
He said public was fed up with the failure of the BJP Government to fulfill its promises. Government employees were waiting for the implementation of the Sixth Pay Commission, while farmers had got no relief.
Under such circumstances, public would be inclined towards the Congress.
He expected the government to take measures to protect soybean crops being affected due to less rainfall and pests and provide appropriate compensation to peasants.
