Embrace "namaste" like greeting

Some airlines of Asia have adopted "namaste" like greeting called "wai" as standard for greeting passengers, according to reports. Hindus have applauded this gesture. Acclaimed Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, said that greeting with a "namaste" like gesture was full of warmth and grace and it symbolized love and respect.
Garuda Indonesia and AirAsia have recently adopted "wai" to greet passengers while Thai Airways International has used it for about half a century, reports suggest. Besides "namaste", "wai" is similar to "kub" of Laos, "sampeah" of Cambodia, and "aayushman" of Sri Lanka.
Albert Gore Jr., 45th Vice President of USA and environmentalist, has been spotted as doing "namaste" and many yoga studios globally use it frequently. Also known as "namaskar" or "namaskaram", "namaste" is derived from Sanskrit and it simply means "I bow to you". The gesture involves hands joined together with finger pointing upwards in front of the chest and a slight bow and can be spoken or wordless.
Rajan Zed, who is president of Universal Society of Hinduism, has urged other airlines of Asia also to embrace "namaste" like greeting. 
Regulating real estate in Delhi
The Central Government on said that it is considering a model legislation on regulating real estate in Delhi.
In reply to a written question in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Urban Development Saugata Roy said that the Delhi Real Estate Management (Regulation and Control) Bill can also serve as a reference for other states.
The minister ruled out the constitution of a regulator for real estate sector for the entire country, saying matters pertaining to local governance and land falls in the list of state subject as per the Constitution.
