Bhopal Posted On Monday, July 27, 2009 | By Our Staff Reporter Bhopal, July 27: Congress Member Kalpana Parulekar today severely objected to remarks of ministers and ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members in the Assembly during questions relating to liquor outlets. During question hour, Moti Kashyap (BJP) posed a supplementary regarding licences of such outlets in Jabalpur district. Meanwhile, Speaker Ishwardas Rohani made a comment that was followed by laughter and several light-hearted remarks by ministers and other members leading to guffaws in the House. Urban Administration and Development Minister Babulal Gaur even began mentioning various brands of liquor. Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Gopal Bhargav and Narottam Mishra also made some comments. ''A serious discussion was taking place but the ministers are commenting against one another. These remarks are improper,'' felt Ms Parulekar. After her words, the House calmed down and proceedings continued.
