Bhopal Posted On Sunday, July 26, 2009 | By Our Staff Reporter Bhopal, July 26: Urban Administration and Development Minister Babulal Gaur along with Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) commissioner Manish Singh and officers associated with development of State capital did perusal of old City and Lower Lake. He gave instructions to widen the roads and footpath of this area, to stop flow of nullhas and small drains into Lower Lake and to develop the bank of lower lake in systematic manner. Babulal Gaur along with Manish Singh did perusal of Kamla Park, Ginnori, Hathikhana, Mangalwara, Bus Stand on Sunday. After inspection Gaur gave instructions to make the premises of area near Kamla Park ITC Park systematic and to make arrangement of benches there and to make the banks of Lower Lake more beautiful. He added that way from Ginnori to Budhwara should be widened and made more systematic. Gaur further said that nullhas merging into Lower Lake should be stopped from merging into it and for this scheme should be prepared, pump house should be cleaned and boundary wall should be erected. The washerwomen who clean clothes near Lower Lake should be shifted to Patra. Gaur maintained that shops of BMC situated at Itwara square should be reconstructed in systematic manner and work should be done to establish Khan Shakir Ali Khan pillar here. While inspecting railway station platform number 5 and Alpana tri-junction Gaur gave instructions to widen the footpath constructed between Alpana tri-junction and Bharat Talkies. During the perusal done by Gaur, BMC additional commissioner Abhay Arvind Bedekar, corporator Sushma Sahu and officers of Public Works Department were also present with him.
