Gartner says Indian IT sector still has pains

Consultancy firm Gartner said that Indian IT industry will continue to experience some pain till the key markets in the US and Western Europe recover, though the worst appears to be on the back.
In a statement here, Gartner Principal Research Analyst Diptarup Chakraborti said, ''Initial trends from the recent results indicate that although the top line growth has been under pressure, increased focus on reducing costs and improving processes has greatly improved their bottom line, which has definitely been one of the more heartening outcomes.''
