Rio de Janeiro, July 22: At least 185 people sank along with the ship they were travelling in, into the Amazon River near Manaus city Tuesday. No death has been reported so far. According to the Brazilian police, the radar of the ship broke a few minutes after leaving the Manaus harbor for Santarem in Para, leading to the accident. 'Most passengers have been rescued. No death has been reported so far. Divers are still carrying out the search and rescue operations,' the police said Wednesday. Some of the passengers were in their cabins at the time of the accident and authorities would not rule out that people were still inside the ship.
