In the ongoing Kisan agitation to stop vegetables and milk reaching the trading mandis and consumer market the Kisan themselves are facing odd situation. The vegetables and milk are perishable commodities and can not be held back due to strike.
But agitation leaders and the vegetable brokers are harassing them. All some places their produce were thrown away. But on the whole enough vegetables and milk reaching to market. The brokers by spreading the scare purchasing from the Kisan at a very low price and selling it a very high price at the consumer market.
The brokers are robbing both the producer kisan and consumer public. The Administration must ensure that no kisan is prevented or harassed by the agitators and brokers should not be able to exploit both.
The prices of vegetables have gone very high in and in the intense hot weather it qualities have also deteriorated.
