Uncle, aunt refuse to meet Udayan Das

Bhopal : Aakansha murder accused Udayan Das is lodged at Govindpura police station. Raipur police on Tuesday recorded the statements of Udayan’s aunt (mother’s sister) Kshipra Chatterjee and maternal uncle Subrat Chatterjee.

When police showed the bangles recovered from Udayan’s house, Kshipra broke down. She said the bangles belonged to her sister Indrani. Police recorded Kshipra’s and Subrat’s statements for nearly an hour. Kshipra said she wants justice for her sister.

Refuse to meet Udayan Raipur police told Kshipra and Subrat that they could meet Udayan, but they refused to meet him. They said they had no connection with Udayan. They even did not look towards the lockup where Udayan was being held.
