Two CRPF personnel injured in militant attack in Kashmir

Srinagar, Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were injured when militants attacked their vehicle in south Kashmir district of Anantnag on Thursday, official sources said.

They said militants fired upon a CRPF vehicle with automatic weapons at K P Road in Anantnag district resulting in injuries to two personnel. Security forces also retaliated but the militants escaped, they said.

The entire area has been cordoned off and a massive hunt has been launched to nab the militants responsible for the attack.CRPF vehicle was on way to Pahalgam when the attack took place, they said.
