Civil engineer can reduce road accident: Jaideep
Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, The statistics of road accidents are very frightening in India. According to an estimate, more than one lakh deaths in India are due to road accidents every year and in most cases school and college are the occupants. Inspector General of Police of Bhopal Jaideep Prasad has informed students of Radharaman engineering college about these horrendous facts.
IG, Jaideep Prasad Jaideep was the prime speaker of the Expert Lecture on the Road Safety topic organized at the principal engineering college of the capital city Radharaman.
He informed that the figures of Road Accidents are very frightening in India. And due to not following the rules of traffic these issues are taking even more serious forms.
Prasad said that in order to overcome this problem of road accidents, the engineering students, especially the students of civil engineering can play an important role and he also told, students better measures to deal with them in the event of accidents.
In this program he also gave information to students in detail about how to make the traffic safe.
At the beginning of the program, head of the department Ajay Pratap Singh has florally welcomed Chief Guest, IG Bhopal Jaideep Prasad. At conclusion Dr PK Lahiri presented souvenir to IG Bhopal on behalf of the college. On this occasion, Dr Anurag Jain and Dr JL Rana were also present with other prominent guests.
Chairman of the group RR Saxena, while describing this lecture, he said that this lecture was very useful for the students, he said that if all the people including students follow the rules of traffic, then the rate of accident in India can be reduced.
