Agencies, New Delhi Describing the political environment in the country as full of ‘negativity’, Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi today said he would concentrate on ‘’positive politics’’ and shun ‘’negative politics.’’
Talking to reporters here after holding a meeting with office bearers of the AICC, his first after becoming the number two in the party, Rahul said, ‘’the environment of our politics and the kind of discussions are extremely acrimonious. We are always fighting with each other. ‘’What I would like to do is to reduce this slightly. I do not want to get into negative politics. I do not want to be critical of anybody. I want to concentrate on positive politics. ‘’It is only positive politics that will take this country forward. Negative politics will not take this country forward,’’ he added.
