Medical shops will also remain closed
Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, There will be a Bharat Bandh today against the policies of BJP’s central government. This will be the third time in the month of September that there is a Bharat Bandh.
After upper caste (Savarn) it was Congress and now the big association of traders that is confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) who has announced a Bandh to protest against Wallmart-Flipcart deal and FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) in retail. The association claimed that seven crore affiliated traders will participate in this Bandh and will close their business on 28th September.
According to CAIT’s national vice president Radheshyam Maheshwari and state president Kailash Agarwal, small traders will suffer due to the deal between Wall Mart and Flip Cart because Wall Mart will pour the whole retail market with goods by using the E-Commerce platform of Flip Cart.
Due to this deal, not only the traders, small industries will also be affected. State president says that today seven crore traders will close their business simultaneously.
Chemists also call for strike with traders
Worried from the entry of online medicine sale, All India Organization of Chemists and Druggists has also announced a one day strike on 28th September. They are supporting Trader’s Bharat Bandh.
President of Bhopal Chemist Association Lalit Jain told that all the wholesale and retail medical shops will remain closed on 28th September. For an emergency situation, one can get the medicines from the medical shops located inside Hospitals and Nursing Homes.
