Three Maoists killed in encounter

Sasaram: Three Maoists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Rohtas district on Monday.
“A joint team of STF of Bihar Police and Cobra battalion of CRPF launched the combing operation near Matiyaon village in Chutia police station when armed Maoists opened fire,” Superintendent of Police Manu Maharaj said.
In the ensuing encounter, three Maoists were killed on the spot, he said. The police brought the bodies to the district headquarters here, he said.
