Tech Mahindra showcases latest innovations, technology at MI-18

Tech Mahindra, a specialist in digital transformation, consulting and business re-engineering showcased latest innovations and technologies that will shape the future at the company’s annual innovations day, Mission Innovation (MI-18) that started at the company’s campus here on Thursday.

In its 4th Edition this year, Innovation Day stays an important interface with Tech Mahindra’s influencers, and an endeavour to present them with energetic but realistic viewpoint of TechM’s readiness in futuristic technologies, intent and “on ground” performance.

The two-day event exhibited demonstrative innovations that richly varied across verticals of digital operations from manufacturing technologies like Invoice Discounting Platform (Blockchain), Cognitive Asset Tracking System, Vehicle Lifecycle Management and Healthcare technologies like end-to-end Emergency Management System, the IT company said in release here.

The other solutions that were at display included Integrated Patient Support Engagement Platform for Chronic illness, Insurance technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning based Automated Underwriting for Full Medical Report (FMR), Audit data capturing using blockchain for banks and IoT powered Digital farming platform for precision agriculture and among others.

Tech Mahindra’s senior leadership present at the event defined four key focus areas vis-à-vis AI, Entrepreneurship, Tech Bets, and capitalizing on Customer Relationships.

They also spelt out their interpretation of AI and reskilling plans. A key focus was to deliberate on the view that automation will create more jobs than it takes over. Commenting on the occasion, Tech Mahindra CEO CP Gurnani, said, ‘’the future calls for orchestrating an intricate interplay of Networks, DevOps and IoT for connected customer experience.

He reinforced the criticality of invention and relevance for skills. “For our employees at Tech Mahindra, we have launched what I believe to be one of the most path breaking technology initiatives taken here, which is BOTIFY – The Biggest Man Machine collaboration.

This initiative will disrupt our business, transform our customer’s experiences and most importantly, have a huge impact on careers. Being future-ready is our prime responsibility towards our stakeholders and we are conscious of this,” Mr Gurnani said.

Tech Mahindra Chief Marketing Officer, Jagdish Mitra, said, “We implement Automation and AI in our service lines and processes. We aspire to be a global leader in skilled RPA/AI trained associates and a company that is best aligned to be future ready for the world of Bots.

We deliberated and agreed on four areas as core to our future technology investments. These drivers transcend the connected world towards connected experiences, he added.
