State Congress Committee holds Protest MarchThe Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee Minority Department has organised a Protest Torch March against increase in the gang rape incidents and the deteriorating law and order in the state on December 28 at Lily Talkies under the leadership of the Convener of Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee Minority Department, Arif Masood.  In the March large number of Congress Workers of eleven wards including 17, 18, 20, 21, 32, 33, 34, 40, 41, 42 and 44 has participated.

In the procession protestors from ward no. 17, 18, 20, 21 has gone through Budhwara, Band Master Square, Tallayya and has reached Lily Talkies whereas protestors from ward no. 32, 33, 41, 42, 44 through Jinsi Police Station, Rambha Talkies, Shabban Square, Jehangirabad Market reached Lily Talkies and protestors from ward no. 40 and 34 had gone through Barkhedi Gate and has joined others at Lily Talkies. Later at the protest the workers demanded the resignation of the Governor and a related memorandum was presented to the S.D.M.
At the protest Arif Masood stated that in the state due to the deteriorating law and order the common man is unsecured and the police are working under pressure of the BJP leaders.

The protest was mainly joined by Councilor Anil Sirolia, Former Councilor Mohammad Sarwar, Munawar Ali, Jeevanlal Ghausle, Youth Congress President of North and Central Sami ur Rehman, Nadir Khan, Mateen Altaf Khan, Amjad Anjum, Shadab Khan, Rahil Kadar, Ajay Gupta, Hasib Ullah, Zulfikaar Ahmed, Zuber, Vishal Yadav, Ateeq, Raj Gauri, Almas Khan, Deepesh Keswani, Amit Khatri, Bharat Ahirwar, Kamlesh Patel, Vijay Mishra, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Mohit Saxena, Khalid Jaffery, Ali Khan, Manal Hasan, Javed, Haseen, Asad Khan including large number of workers were present.
