Sonia spreading lies: Modi

Agencies, Gandhinagar
Reacting to Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s charge that the condition of farmers in the state has worsened, Chief Minister Narendra Modi today said Ms Gandhi was spreading lies.

Writing on social networking site Twitter, Mr Modi said the Congress has lost all the rights to speak about such issues. “It’s shameful how Ms Sonia was spreading lies today on issues about which Congress has lost all rights to speak.

Ms Gandhi says Guj’s roads are bad! Is that believable? She says Guj’s farmers are ruined! Is that how Guj sees 11% growth in agriculture?’ In her speech at election rallies at Mandavi in South Gujarat and Keshod in Saurashtra, Ms Gandhi came down heavily on Modi government on condition of the tribals and the farmers.
