Addressing a convention of village sarpanchs at Mahatma Mandir here this afternoon, Mr Modi said the mantra ‘sauno saath, sauno vikas’ (cooperation of all, development of all) has worked in the development of the state. He said though the electricity and emergency medicare has reached villages of the state, the work is far from over.
‘I have just plugged the potholes created earlier on the way to development in last 10 years. A magnificient building of development is yet to be constructed,’ he said.
He said the government has decided to provide all necessary help to root out malnutrition from the state. The government has launched a ‘Mission balam, sukham’ for the purpose which will reach out to all 18,000 villages in the state.
Mr Modi said the development in the state is not due to the efforts of any single individual but it is the result of people’s joint efforts.
