Sagar Institute of Science and Technology (SISTec) is amongst the best engineering colleges of Bhopal is known for integration of engineering, management and pharmacy streams with the industry. The two day unique Bonnaru Film Festival concluded at SISTec campus with enormous participation and enthusiasm.
The second day of Bonnaru Film Festival began with announcement of winners of events of day one. Madhulika bagged the Pampelona – a filmy debate competition whereas Atharva bagging the Coashella La Revue: Movie Screening with on spot review competition.
The second day of film festival witnessed presence of Sagar Agrawal, Director, Sagar Group, Principal SISTec, Dr Pallavee Bhatnagar, Vice Principal Dr Swati Saxena, Dr Abhishek Tripathi , HOD, SISTec MBA, B.S. Kushwaha, Senior Administrator, Governing members of SISTec, distinguished guests, media, faculty members, staff and 800+ students were also present.
The key attractions of second day event were Mummers Play (Nukkad Natak) in which students participated with great enthusiasm to spread awareness with bold performances spreading the social message of save the girl child, women empowerment, girl education, child labor, environment protection, No to drugs, save the wild life, Swach Bharat, health and hygiene etc.
The day also witnessed Emoji’s – Movie shot attracts in which students shared their best movie shot explaining how it motivates and inspires them. Pana Sinavia was the quiz competition based on movies which enthralled the students. The interesting part of second day Bonnaru Film Festival was Kahve De Latte – Coffee with Abhishek Sir which was in form of an Interview of key dignitaries over a cup of coffee.
The two days Bonnaru Film Festival depicted its role and impact on society with an insight on the contribution made by Indian Cinema towards the society on learning’s with an entertainment, fun mode.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice Principal, SISTec, Dr Swati Saxena said that, “Cinema and short films leave a great impact on youth of India. Students have been very innovative and creative to communicate us the way they want to lead India. I congratulate the faculties of SISTec for identifying such unique opportunity to guide the students.”
Sudhir Kumar Agrawal, Chairman, Sagar Group, said that “Our institutions are the nucleus of our energy. We will continue to modernize and impart education to create opportunities for the students to build the nation. SISTec Bonnaru Film Festival is another step in this direction.”
The Bonnaru Film Festival concluded with an award ceremony to winners followed by gratitude to all by Dr Abhishek Tripathi, HOD, SISTec MBA with a pledge to encompass in 2019.
