Shivraj Submits resignation to Governor

9CPR1Bhopal:  After completion of election process for the Legislative Assembly in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today submitted his resignation to Governor Ram Naresh Yadav, official sources said. Mr Chouhan arrived at Raj Bhavan and formally informed the Governor about the election results and formation of the new government before submitting his resignation.

Mr Yadav asked Mr Chouhan to continue as care taker chief minister until the new government is formed. The office of the Chief Electoral Office issues notification regarding the results of the Assembly polls and officially informs the Governor.
