Shinde’s remarks on Kejriwal misinterpreted: Congress

Sushil ShindeAgencies, New Delhi
Defending Union Home Minister Sushil  Kumar Shinde over his remarks against Delhi Chief Minister  Arvind Kejriwal, the Congress today said his comments have  been misinterpreted in the media.

‘’Mr Shinde is a very seasoned politician. His remarks  were misinterpreted in the media. All he was pointing out,  in his local dialect, is that Mr Kejriwal does not  understand the law or constitution.

‘’In this sense, his comments should be seen as an advice  to a younger brother,’’ AICC spokesperson Randeep  Surjewala told reporters here.
Speaking at a function in Maharashtra yesterday, Mr  Shinde allegedly referred to Mr Kejriwal, who brought life  in Delhi to a standstill with his dharna to demand  suspension of some policemen, as a ‘Yeda’ (mad) Chief  Minister’’.
