A cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today decided to increase share capital of State Seeds and Farm Corporation from Rs. 15 crore to Rs. 40 crore. The decision has been taken to help the corporation meet its targets. With this, farmers will get high quality seeds on time.
The cabinet decided to allot free land to Madhya Pradesh medical university at Jabalpur. The cabinet sanctioned construction of Tikamgarh-Orchha road’s stretch from 71/8 km to 81/2 km. The work will be done through Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation. Estimated cost of this 9.24 km long road is Rs. 72 crore.
The cabinet decided to extend by one year guarantee period for Rs. 1868 crore 81 lakh loan from Rural Electrification Corporation to Power Distribution Companies for implementation of feeder separation scheme. Similarly, it was decided to give one-year extension on guarantee for loan of Rs. 1388 crore 23 lakh from Rural Electrification Corporation to R-APDRP Part-B Scheme.
The cabinet created 6 posts to make available human resources for project pertaining to establishment of GIS Lab. These include 3 posts of GIS operator and one post each of remote sensing assistant, GIS Application Development Lead and GIS Application Developer.
The cabinet sanctioned creation of one post each of deputy election officer, accountant-cum-upper division clerk and lower division clerk for local election office in newly constituted Agar-Malwa district.
The cabinet endorsed constitution of Middle Class Commission and Madhya Pradesh Business Promotion Board and special concession in rates of rice to be provided to BPL and Antyodaya beneficiaries under public distribution system.
