Staff Reporter, Bhopal Culture, Religious Trusts and Endowment Minister Shri Laxmikant Sharma has said that seers have always been working towards human upliftment. We can ensure social equality in the state by following the path shown by seers.
Shri Sharma was speaking at Sant Ravidas Jayanti function at Lateri in Vidisha district today. Shri Sharma said that Sant Ravidas gave priority to deeds in his lifetime. His entire life was work-oriented. The Culture Minister said that Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has chalked out special schemes for the upliftment of scheduled castes and tribes in the state.
Earlier, Shri Sharma offered worship at Sant Shiromani Ravidas Mandir at Badi Madagan. Interacting with SC, ST children, he informed them of educational facilities being provided by the State Government. Shri Sharma assured about cement-concrete works on the temple’s premises and construction of Satsang Bhavan in the name of Sant Ravidas.
