The Supreme Court on Thursday refused to give an early hearing on the plea mentioned by various homebuyers in the Jaypee real estate case.

A three-judge bench of the apex court, headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dipak Misra and also comprising Justices AM Khanwilkar and DY Chandrachud, after hearing the mentioning of many homebuyers in the Jaypee real estate case, observed: “Let them (Jaypee real estate company private limited) comply with the court’s earlier order”.

The apex court also made it clear that after the real estate company complied with its order, the SC would hear the homebuyers plea for hearing.”Let them (Jaypee) comply with the court order. Then we will hear your (homebuyers) plea, ” the three-judge bench of the apex court observed.

Lawyer appearing for many homebuyers of Jaypee, mentioned before the apex court and sought for an early hearing for Thursday or day after. But the apex court refused to give an early hearing on their mentioning.

It is to be noted that the winter vacation would start from December 18, 2017 till January 03, 2018, so the homebuyers knocked the doors of the court and wanted the matter to be heard by it on Friday or day after.
