The Madhya Pradesh having massive population tribals has included in the National Rural Livelihood Mission. In the first phase 6207 villages in the 46 development blocks of 10 districts are being taking up. In the tribal dominated villages of the district of Sheopur, Jhalia, Dhar, Alinejpur, Barwani, Shadol, Anupur, Dndori, Mandla and Balaghat the tribals will be provided institutional forum to increasing their income with close assess to the financial bodies. The rural families will also be empowered through skill and capacity development.
Taking into consideration the short comings of earlier poverty alleviation programme now it has been decide to secure the direct participation of the villagers in the programmes of the mission. The schemes will continue for about 10 years to candidate the going of the mission.
The government staff is being trained with specific empahsis tribal needs and making them familiar with the problems of tribal and how to works on such remote areas. The rural people will be educated about their rights and government schemes of their benefts. It will change the rural development of the state to a very great extend.
