Attacking the Aam Aadmi party, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi charged them of running away from Delhi after forming the Government.
‘’Those who were running the Delhi government ran out of Delhi. Some went to Uttar Pradesh, some to other places,’’ Mr Gandhi today said while addressing a rally at Dakshinpuri in South Delhi in support of the Congress South Delhi candidate Ramesh Kumar. He said the Congress supported the AAP Government in Delhi because they wanted to respect the verdict of the electorate.

‘’We supported the opposition AAP government in Delhi because we wanted to respect the will of the people,’’ the Amethi MP said.

In a swipe at the AAP promises of free water and cheap electricity, he said, ‘’it is very easy to make false promises. But, the very people who formed the Delhi Government ran away from here.’’

He asked the crowd gathered at the rally whether the previous Delhi government gave them ‘Bijli and Paani’ to which they shouted in unison ‘’No’’.
In his strongest attack on AAP, Mr Gandhi said,’’They ran away in three months. The national capital had to suffer for it.’’

Calling the 2014 election a battle of ideologies, He said, ‘’BJP’s thinking is that all the knowledge, all the solutions of the problems is with only one single leader while we believe in carrying everybody along with us.
