Slamming Congress for repeatedly targeting its Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, BJP today said the former’s Common Minimum Programme at present is to stop Mr Modi from coming to power after the Lok Sabha polls.
BJP national vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi while addressing a press conference here said, ‘’Congress has nothing to say now and now their Common Minimum Programme is to stop Narendra Modi.
‘’Congress has not only collapsed politically but simultaneously, it has fallen to lowest levels ethically. Every day, its prominent leaders lie to the country and give misguided statements so as to spread a web of illusions, but its effort is failing, which has already lost its trust from within the people.’’
Mr Naqvi said regional concerns of BJP are clear from south to north east and given its progressive aspect, a large number of important political
parties have decided to become a part of the BJP-led NDA.
