‘Portal to become Medium of Citizens’ Participation’

Bhopal : Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that mygov M.P. and C.M. Dash Board should become an effective medium of citizens’ participation. People will have direct watch on the schemes of the government now. Chouhan said this at the portal dedication programme held today.

Members of the cabinet, Chief Secretary B.P. Singh, Secretaries and other Senior Officers were present on the occasion. CM Chouhan mentioned that portal should become an effective tool of transparency and governance. Departments must use it actively. He described the portal as useful medium to link common men with the government.

Chouhan further said that public views should be invited from the people regarding Bhavantar Yojana and proposed sand policy. Industries department informed about the information made available on the portal and its use on this occasion.

Moreover information was given by the Revenue department on practical usefulness of the portal regarding revenue court monitoring system and on benefits derived from effective functioning of departmental activities. It was informed in the meeting that implementation of state government’s several schemes will be monitored by the C.M. Dash Board.

Implementation will be result oriented. Portal will help taking instant administrative decisions. High level data base can also be prepared and convenient statistical analysis is possible through C.M. Dash Board. It may be mentioned that the portal mygov M.P. is a common platform of citizens and the government for cooperation to build the nation.

Citizens will get an opportunity for cooperation in the main areas of administration. Citizens can also be included to form the policies. Accumulation of peoples’ advises, remarks and sentiments will become easy to ensure effective participation of community required for building the nation.
