The special train under Mukhyamantri Teerth-Darshan Yojna carrying pilgrims from Bhopal, Narmadapuram and Ujjain divisions arrived today at Ajmer railway station at 4.25 am. The pilgrims were accorded a floral welcome at the station by members of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Dargah Committee.
Later this morning, the pilgrims visit Dargah and offered Chadars there. Following it, they offered Juma Namaz at adjoining mosque. All the pilgrims prayed for Madhya Pradesh’s peace and prosperity.
When pilgrims from Madhya Pradesh informed other states’ pilgrims about Mukhyamantri Teerth-Darshan Yojna launched by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, they were pleasantly surprised. They said that not only they hearing about such a novel scheme for the first time, but are seeing its successful implementation. Pilgrims from the state also informed others about Mukhyamantri Kanyadan and Ladli Laxmi Yojna saying that all such schemes are for the welfare of all and not for any particular caste or community.
The pilgrims also visited other centres of pilgrimage and tourist spots in Ajmer.
Local journalists also sought information about Mukhyamantri Teerth-Darshan Yojna from pilgrims. When asked by journalist how much they spent on their journey, they replied that they did not spend even a single paisa. Travel, food and lodging all is free courtesy by the Chief Minister and the State Government. Smt. Irshad Bi and Jaleel Mian of Sironj said that we have been sent by our minister Shri Laxmikant Sharma. We had failed to catch the train from Habibganj Railway station following which the minister arranged to board us from Bairagarh railway station thanks
to which we could come here.
