CNS, Bhind Minister of State for Power Jyotiraditya Scindia today said the Madhya Pradesh regime has no right to remain in power as it did not undertake development-related activities in recent years. While addressing a convention of panchs, sarpanchs and farmers in Mehgaon, the Minister issued a clarion call to oust the State Government.
“Only the Congress knows how to bring about development and that is why people should hand over the key to power to my party. During the present regime’s tenure, the public is vexed, the ministers are enjoying themselves, the administration has become corrupt and democracy has been destroyed,” he alleged. The Guna-Etawah Railway Project would be completed in three months, said Mr Scindia who was in this area to inaugurate power schemes.
He dedicated to the public the Rs 52-crore Rajiv Gandhi Rural Electrification Scheme. “Before the Bharatiya Janata Party came to power in this state, it said that it would solve the electricity problem within 100 days but it has not managed to do so in ten years of rule,” the Congress leader said.
