Not king, but public servant

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that he is not a king, but a public servant. I tell public representatives to spend time in public service and not welcomes. The Chief Minister was addressing “Aao Banayen Apna Madhya Pradesh” function at Jhabua today.

Shri Chouhan urged people to work unitedly to develop Jhabua as leading instead of backward district during next 5 years. Shri Chouhan informed that along with wheat, now rice will also be provided at Re. 1 per kg to all the poor people who are not income tax payers. The Chief Minister expressed pleasure after seeing wheat crop in the district. He said that he wants to bring a situation when people demand wheat produced in Jhabua. He described everyone’s cooperation vital in creating water structures in the district. The Chief Minister informed that now Mukhyamantri Khet-Sadak Yojana has been chalked out for smooth access of farmers to their fields.

Shri Chouhan urged people to save energy, conserve water, shun addiction, plant saplings, send all children to school and construct toilets in houses. Shri Chouhan also administered pledge of “Aao Banayen Apna Madhya Pradesh” on the occasion.

Inauguration and foundation-laying of construction works

At the function, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan inaugurated and laid foundation stones for construction works costing Rs. 23 crore 62 lakh and distributed benefits to beneficiaries of various schemes. The Chief Minister also inaugurated an exhibition on the theme of “Aao Banayen Apna Madhya Pradesh”. MLA Shri Shantilal Bilwal also spoke on the occasion.

In-charge Minister Shri Antar Singh Arya, MLA Sushri Nirmala Bhuria, Shri Kal Singh Bhawar, other public representatives and large number of villagers were present on the occasion.12jjhabua1
