I always aspired to pursue my higher education from an institution that could provide me with a wide exposure and help me kick start my career in Business Administration. After going through all the options available for Masters in Business Administration, I zeroed onto University of Northampton as it was affordable and had a high degree of student satisfaction. The 25% scholarship offered by the University was one of the main reasons that acted in favour of studying at this institution.
Before joining the University of Northampton, I was a little apprehensive as to how will I get to the campus from the airport, how will the University campus be, will the tutors be supportive and so on. However, all my worries vanished when I arrived here and found that the University had arranged for an airport pickup till the campus. I was very delighted on seeing the welcome program that they had arranged for the new students. It made me feel very special.
The University, with its wide spread of greenery, offers a host of facilities including a great accommodation, big cafeteria, laundry, gym, Wi-Fi, a student centre and library among others. The Centre for Academic Practice is equipped with all the modern amenities and supports the international students to prepare case studies, literature reviews and journals. All the teachers and course leaders here are the perfect role models. With their vast sea of knowledge, they guide the students in the right direction and provide help whenever needed.
One of the best things about the University is that it offers a buzzing social life with parties and DJ Nights being a regular affair. Comedy nights are staged often which prove to be great stress busters. There are various clubs and societies which are a wonderful source to engage in hobbies that one loves. The Students’ Union of the University is also great and works towards making the students’ time at the University a positive experience, both academically and socially. The most enjoyable thing is that you can meet a lot of people and make friends from across different countries and cultures.
The most memorable experience that I had at the University was a visit to the Jaguar manufacturing division where we got the opportunity to explore its various aspects. Since we personally witnessed the functioning of the unit, it led to a better understanding of the subject. This knowledge trip turned out to be a big help while doing research for my studies.
Every minute spent at the University is a moment that I will always treasure. There is a perfect balance of academics and extra curricular activities which keeps the environment lively throughout. Joining the University was one of the best decisions of my life and I feel privileged to be a part of this prestigious institution.
