The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that during Congress regime recruitments were made traarbitrarily throwing to winds the rules and procedures. The BJP government has corrected the recruitment process making it transparent. He announced a probe into the re recruitments made during the Congress government. He said that MPPEB would be re-structured and a new MPPEB Act would be brought during the current Assembly session. He said that competitive exams would be recast. Shri Chouhan was addressing MLAs after giving a written reply to the debate on the adjournment motion on MPPEB in Vidhansabha here today.
The Chief Minister said that it is not the Congr ess that detected the MPPEB case; it is Shivraj Singh government that not only brought to light the case but also ordered a thorough inquiry into it. He said that on receiving a complaint of irregularities in PMT through an anonymous letter the Indore police arrested the fake examinees. The state government took a very serious view of the matter and directed an exhaustive probe into it. Subsequently, it was decided to hand over the inquiry to the STF. No offender would be spared and the STF inquiry is continuing. He said that while hearing the petitions filed to question the STF inquiry the High Court has observed that the state government had ordered STF probe without wasting time. The STF inquiry is being conducted with full authenticity, he added.
The Chief Minister said that the entire inquiry is being conducted under the supervision of the High Court. So far, 299 cases of irregularities in r ecruitment tests have come to light. The Congress is seeking to cast aspersions on his family by leve ling baseless and unfounded allegations. The Congress dragged the name of venerable late Sudershanji and the RSS by design to divert the inquiry. The RSS teaches patriotism and devotion to duty. The name of hi s late maternal uncle was also dragged, who had passed away about eight years back. All this is be ing done at the instance of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Shri Chouhan said that the Congress is trying to create confusion on this issue. In Congress regime even hand pump mechanics were appointed as teachers.
