MP shooting academy wins four gold and one bronze medals

Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy has made Madhya Pradesh proud by winning four gold and one bronze medal in the 27th All India GV Mavalankar shotgun shooting championship held in Patiala, Punjab recently.

Academy Player Gubushankar bagged two gold medals – each one in junior and senior category of trap event while, Parvati Kumare won gold medals each one in junior and senior girl category of skeet event.

Academy player Muskan secured one bronze medal in trap event, girl junior category in the championship. Sports and Youth Welfare Minister, Smt Yashodhara Raje Scindia lauded the players’ achievements in the championship and congratulated them on winning the medals.

She told the players that they should win medals by perfoming similar way in the upcoming competitions and makes the state proud. On this occasion, Director, Sports and Youth Welfare, Upendra Jain encouraged medal winners.

Players participated in the championship held in Patiala under the leadership of Chief Technical Advisor and Chief Instructor of the academy, Mansher Singh and coach Hemraj Singh Rana.
