MoS Arya launches stop child exploitation campaign in state

Bhopal : Minister of State for General Administration Lal Singh Arya inaugurated the Stop Child Exploitation Campaign in state under the joint aegis of Madhya Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights and World Vision India.

Chief guest on the occasion was 10-year-old disabled swimmer Master Abdul Qadir ‘Indori’ from Ratlam. Master Qadir had won one gold and one silver in 2015 and two golds and one silver in the 2017 National Paralympic Games in swimming. MoS Arya said that it is nice to see disabled people move ahead in this age of competition.

He said that when any person wins a contest, he brings glory to the country. When he walks with the country’s flag, he makes the nation proud. Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Archana Chitnis replied to the queries of children in the ruling party and opposition in the Bal Sansad. Children staged the Bal Sansad very well.

Both parties presented a strong debate in the Bal Sansad. Smt. Chitnis listed carefully and gave information to the children about the parliamentary proceedings. Tourism Development Corporation Chairman Tapan Bhowmik announced to give discount of 50 per cent to total four members of the families of children who took part in the Bal Sansad for 2 nights and 3 day-stay at Hanumantiya.

He told that the Hanumantiya Jal Mahotsav will be organized from October 15 to January 5, 2018. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will give an honorarium of Rs 21,000 to Master Shreyas Valmate and disabled Master Abdul Qadir ‘Indori’ at the Hanumantiya Jal Mahotsav.

Among those who expressed their opinion on subjects like laws related to children, I.T.I., J.J. Act, crimes by children under 18, drug addiction in children, POSCO Act apart from media and social media include Judicial member of National Green Tribunal, Justice Dalip Singh, Michael Pradhan of World Vision India, Prof Vishwas Chouhan, of Law College, Bhopal and Madhya Pradesh Commission for Protection of Child Rights Chairman Raghavendra Sharma.

Minister of State for Technical Education Deepak Joshi, Barkatullah University Vice Chancellor Pramod Verma, Varghese Jacob of World Vision India, Child Commission member Smt. Amita Jain, Smt. Nirmala Barela, Ashish Kapoor, Smt. Madhumita and representatives from the state were present during the programme.
