Mercury plummets all over state

With the falling mercury, the effect of cold is increasing all over the state. On Thursday, the lowest temperature was recorded in Chhindwara at 12 degrees Celsius. Thursday morning was colder in the state capital compared to the last few days.

The weather was clear and the sun was bright but the sunlight was pleasant due to coolness in weather. Chhindwara was coldest in the state where mercury plummeted to 12 degrees Celsius.

The weatherman said the temperatures are falling all over the state as wind direction has changed to north. The weather is likely to be dry during the next 24 hours and the temperatures are likely to fall further in the days to come.

On Thursday, Bhopal recorded temperature of 14.9 degrees Celsius, Indore registered 15.4 degrees, Gwalior 14.4 and Jabalpur registered minimum temperature of 16 degrees Celsius.
