MANIT begins “MAFFIC 2014” with a bang

14maffic2Bhopal,  The central India’s largest cultural fest “MAFFICK 2014” portraying the theme to celebrate 100 years of Indian cinema ,started with bang on 14th MARCH.

The fest on its first day received an overwhelming response by witnessing over 1500 registrations from college over the country. Eminent institutes like IIT, NLIU, NIFT and RGPV, LNCT, MIT, ORIENTAL etc showed appreciable participation. The mega attractions of the first day were NUKKAD NATAK, MAFFICK WARRIORS, DANCE FIESTA, MAFICK IDOL , RAJNEETI AND MANY MORE adventurous events. In order to promote the cultural activities and to discover new talents, this fest aims towards providing a platform for new talent. COSTUME DESIGNING, FACE PAINTING AND BODY PAINTING, FILM MAKING, was held to bring out the artistic perspective of the students.

The second day of the fest will continue with more fun events like BIG SWITCH, MASTER CHEF, LASER COMBAT to energize the participating youth.

DANCING SUPERSTARS, ZITHER, and DEMON PROTOCOL AND BAND BAJA BARAT will be the major highlight of the fest on the second day. “The teams were enthusiastic and they gave full efforts to make this event a huge success” says Himanshu Jain, cultural secretary, Manit Students’ Council, 2013-2014.

The fest will have a grand closure with a guest lecture from MR. Sanjay Chouhan, an eminent screen writer and director  most known for I Am Kalam  for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Story., and Paan Singh Tomar (2012), which he co-wrote with Tigmanshu Dhulia on 16th march following finales of the major events and prize distribution .
