Man held for raping married sister-in-law

A 30-year-old man has been arrested for sexually assaulting his married 29-year-old sister-in-law at Indra Nagar. Teelajamalpura police have booked the accused on Monday after the victim gathered courage to file a complaint against the man.

According to the police, accused Raju Ahirwar sexually assaulted the woman three months back and continued to sexually exploit her by threatening her.

In her complaint, the victim said that she along with her family is tenant of the accused and three months ago when her husband was not present the accused entered the house and sexually assaulted her.

After committing the crime the man fled the spot. He threatened victim of dire consequences if she reported the incident. However, the victim gathered courage to report the incident to her husband and later a complaint was lodged with the police.

After the preliminary investigation the police registered a case under section 376 of the IPC and started further investigation.

Woman sexually exploited on pretext of marriage

A 24-year-old divorced woman was sexually assaulted by a 28-year-old man near Adarsh hospital under Shahjehanabad police station area. The woman was sexually exploited for the past five months by the accused, said police.

The accused identified as Amir Khan sexually exploited the victim from the October 2017 and when the victim asked for marriage he refused, assaulted and threatened her.

The woman after divorce used to live with her two children in Shahjehanabad area. In her complaint she stated that accused developed relationship on the pretext of marrying her but later refused and assaulted her.

The police have registered a case under section 376, 323, 506 of the IPC and have started search for the accused.

Man duped of Rs 2 lakh in land deal

Bagh Sewania police have booked two persons, including a woman, for selling a plot belonging to some other person and duping the victim to the tune of Rs 2 lakh at Alkapuri. A case was registered in the police station on Monday. According to the police, Nikhlesh Barde of Banganga was duped by Ashok and Kavita Naagle by selling plot of some other person.

A complaint was filed regarding the fraud and after completion of the investigation the police have registered a case under section 420 and 34 IPC.

In her complaint the victim stated that she met Ashok in the year 2014 who later introduced him to Kavita Naagle who owns office in Alkapuri. Kavita provided details of a plot owned by her which she wanted to sell. After the victim got assured and visited the plot, he agreed.

In February, 2014, the victim handed over Rs1.91 lakh in the name of registry of the property and advance payment against the plot which was bought by the victim but the accused never got the transfer of the property and refused to return the money paid by the victim.

Later, the victim lodged a complaint with the police and after the preliminary investigation a case was registered against the accused.

Victim told the police that when he verified the details of the property it was revealed that the property do not belonged to Kavita and was owned by some other person.The victim works with a private company and used to live in Banganga area where he met Ashok.
