Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has issued instructions to make adequate arrangements for drinking water supply in summer. Transportation of drinking water should also be made as per need.
He directed to pay special attention to the quality of development works and ensure completion of work within the time limit. CM Chouhan today was reviewing progress of big projects under Pragati Online Programme. Chief Secretary B.P. Singh was also present on the occasion.
Reviewing the college buildings under construction under Higher Education Quality Improvement Scheme, CM Chouhan told to make a work plan to improve these colleges.It was told on the occasion that construction work of 41 college buildings is going on.
Besides the construction of 9 more colleges will begin soon. Devsara Rural Group Drinking Water Scheme of Balaghat district will be completed by coming month of April. Out of the approved 68 Polytechnic College buildings the construction of 56 buildings are complete. Construction work of Pench Diversion dam has been completed.
Progress of Solid Waste Management Indore, Amrit Yojana Betul under Department of Urban Development and Housing, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rewa was also reviewed.
It was informed that work under Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana will be completed in 21 district by coming month of June. Construction work of Ratlam Bajna-Kushalgarh Road and Wajidpura-Shadhoura-Naisarai Road will be completed by coming month of August.
Super Specialty Block Yojana under Medical Education Department was also reviewed at the meeting. Senior administrative officials of the concerned departments were also present during the meeting.
