Chief Minister cast his vote at a booth at RC Amala Basic School at Pinarayi village in Kannur district. The Chief Minister, his wife Kamala Vijayan and their two children Veena and Vivek reached around 0743 hrs at Amala School near his house. He waited more than half-an-hour along with other electorates in the queue due to malfunctioning of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).
