After bringing to fore many a talent from across India in the first three seasons, season four of the reality show ‘India’s Got Talent’ launches on Colors on September 22 with Bollywood celebrities Kirron Kher, Farah Khan, Karan Johar and Malaika Arora Khan as judges.
The fourth season of the show, which endeavours to bring to the fore unexplored and hidden talent, will be aired on Colors from September 22 every Saturday and Sunday at 2200 hrs.
Considered Colors’ flagship talent reality show, ‘India’s Got Talent’, this season broke new ground as it explored not only the length, breadth but also the depth of the country.
With India’s Got Talent turning four this season, the show will have not three but four jury members on the panel – veteran actor Kirron Kher, celebrated director Karan Johar, dance diva Malaika Arora Khan and the versatile choreographer-cum director turned actor Farah Khan.
This season of the show will be hosted by Manish Paul and Cyrus Sahukar- the ‘desi boys’ of the small screen.
Together, they will bring enthusiasm and energy on the floor, prod and encourage the contestants to go beyond their comfort zones. Their inimitable comic timing and rib ticking acts will keep the audiences enthralled throughout the episode not leaving even a single dead moment.
Talking about his debut as judge of the show, noted director Karan Johar said,”India’s Got Talent is the only show that does not limit itself to singing-dancing rather extends the stage to a variety of talent and is a launchpad for newcomers.
“At Dharma Productions too, we have given a break to various artists, directors, actors and been part of their success story, which is a huge high. I am looking forward to many life changing experiences like these on ‘India’s Got Talent,” he said.
Kirron Kher, who has been associated with ‘India’s Got Talent’ since its inception,said,”This is my fourth year of judging the show and the stage is not new to me. I know what ‘India’s Got Talent’ is capable of and the responsibility of bringing the best is on our shoulders. This season, the bar has been raised and the quality of the talent has just gone up completely.” “We have already seen some spectacular talent and I cannot wait to take on this new journey of discovering some more.” Karan and Kirron will be joined on the judges seat by the glamorous Malaika Arora Khan and noted choreographer-director-actor Farah Khan, “ she said.
On joining the panel of judges for the show this season, Malaika Arora Khan said,”It’s an honour to be given the mantle of honing and polishing the talent toface the world. It’s this one chance that is a make or break and I am helping the contestants give their best shot.” Also joining the jury will be Farah Khan who will have a special role to play in this season.
“I started as a young choreographer in my teens, directed my first film in my 30s and made my acting debut this year. There is absolutely no stopping for the talented, not even age. I am excited to be part of a show like India’s Got Talent, the only show where they believe in age no bar, talent no bar,” Farah said on donning the role of judge for the show.
