Kashibai becomes Brand Ambassador of Cleanliness and Aaganbadis’ activities

Success Story 

Staff Reporter, Bhopal Kashibai, the aaganbadi worker of village Jagatpur, Umaria district Katni has become an example for over 88 thousand aaganbadi workers of the state. Efforts of Kashibai have brought the number of the malnourished children of village Jagatpur Umaria to nil.

Accompanying pregnant ladies of the village to the aaganbadi center for check up, encourage them to consume nourished meals and to give them proper advice from time to time is a daily routine for Kashibai.

Kashibai has got all the children of her village vaccinated. Now better arrangement of institutional deliveries has been made in the village. Kashibai has got the toilets constructed in 80 houses of her village by encouraging women.

She also managed to get constructed soak pits near 15 hand pumps of the village with the cooperation of Panchayat. Moreover, this remarkable aaganbadi worker has also got the children and women of the entire village benefitted by the Mukhya Mantri Netratva Samudayik Vikas Shamta, Pulse Polio Campaign, Aaganbadi Chalo Campaign, Hoslon ki Udan, Stanpaan Saptah, Poshan Aahaar Saptah, Bal-Choupal and other programmes.

The Aaganbadi Worker Kashibai was honoured with the award by the Government of India under the ICDCS scheme for her strong passion, dedication, services, determination and sacrifice.

The award was presented to her by the Union Minister Smt. Meneka Gandhi. Impressed by the activities of development and transformation in village Jagatpur Umaria, the District Administration has made Kashibai the Brand Ambassador of the district for publicity of aaganbadi activities.

It is easy to talk big about the success but getting success moving on bumpy and difficult path is altogether different. Person who possesses courage can understand the meaning of success in real sense.

Twenty five years old Raja Khan, the proprietor of R.K. Matching Center, Sadar Bazaar- Guna has succeeded to become a successful entrepreneur by his hard work and perseverance.

This entrepreneur has set a new milestone of success by starting a shop of readymade garments, sarees, pico fall and stitching after obtaining loan of just Rs. 50 thousand under the Mukhya Mantri Swa-Rozgar Yojana in the year 2014.

When Raja Khan tried for the job after obtaining a degree in commerce, he could not succeed. He prepared himself with strong determination for establishing his own business and the result is before all of us now.

Raja because of his hard work has been able to capture 12 percent of the market. Owing to cloth quality and reasonable rates, people of Guna and 10-12 nearby villages have become his permanent customers.
