Kareena Kapoor Khan, a fourth-generation actress who is the reigning heartthrob of today’s generation, was on Tuesday evening (Oct 29) honoured at House of Commons by Members of Parliament and Asian Sunday newspaper for her contribution to the global entertainment industry.
She was honoured at the launch of the newspaper’s London Edition, following the success of the now two-year-old Bradford edition.
The actress was honoured by Rt Hon Keith Vaz MP, Chairman of the Home Affairs Select Committee, on behalf of the British Government.

Also honoured at the event were British celebrities, Kimberley Walsh (singer-songwriter, model, TV presenter, actress and band member of Girls Aloud); and Dynamo (AKA Steven Frayne, Dynamo: Magician Impossible).
The milestone occasion was witnessed by Bradford and London MP’s, VIP’s, dignitaries and influencers from across the business and media sectors.
