The Jain Social Group (JSG), Ujjain represented itself for the first time overseas by attending a conference and oath taking programme at Bali, Indonesia. The international president of JSG federation Abhay Sethiya led the conference and announced the expansion of the federation in 5 more countries with 10 new groups.
185 representatives from 12 countries participated in the conference. The programme was held at Hotel Anavaya Beep.
Overseas chairperson Harshaben Shah and other office-bearers were administered oath of office by former president Sharad B Shah. Director of Indian culture center at Bali, Manohar Puri, an Indian official promoting Indian culture in Bali, was chief guest of the programme.
The programme was attended by Sanjeev Jain from Dubai, Vibhaben from London, Vimal Jain from Indonesia, Harsha D Shah from Kuwait, Naresh Achaliya from Jakarta, Vimal Jain from Indonesia, Jignesh Shah from Bahrain, Motichand Shah from Nairobi, Rajendra Vora from USA and Hiten Kamdar, Anushk Kadavat, Hemant Jain, Nitin from New Jersey also took part in the event.’’
