Mumbai, As many as 30 passengers suffered bleeding and headache due to low air pressure inside the cabin of a Jaipur-bound Jet Airways flight on Thursday.
Following the incident, the aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport here.
The flight carrying 166 passengers took off around 0600 hrs in the morning but the crew forgot to select the switch to maintain cabin pressure which led to the situation, sources said. The affected passengers were being attended by the doctors at the airport.
Meanwhile, taking cognisance of the incident, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has requested Directorate General of Civil Aviation to file its report immediately on the issue, the sources added.
