Agencies, New Delhi
India Pak Flag MeetingAs border tension between India and Pakistan showed no sign of de-escalation, both countries today agreed to hold a flag meeting tomorrow.

Pakistan, till yesterday, had ignored India’s offer of a flag meeting to defuse the tension between the two countries, which followed repeated ceasefire violations by their troops along the Line of Control (LOC) in Poonch sector of Jammu region.
A senior Army official said Brigade Commanders of the two countries would meet at Chhakan-Da-Bagh on the LoC in Poonch sector
tomorrow for a flag meting.

The official said India had sought a flag meeting of the Brigade Commanders of the area. Pakistan had now communicated to Indian Army officials their willingness.
Both the Commanders would discuss ways to have normalcy on the border and the January 8 killing and beheading of two Indian soldiers reportedly by Baloch Regiment of the Pakstan Army.
Ceasefire violation by Pakistan would also come up at the meeting, the official added.
