Specially challenged people proved that problems cannot be bigger than willpower: President

Agencies, Chitrakoot After studying in Jagadguru Rambhadracharya Handicapped University, specially challenged are not only getting good jobs but also providing employment to others, said President Ram Nath Kovind while addressing the gathering in convocation here on Monday. Mr Kovind appealed industrialists and citizens of country to extend their support to specially challenged. With the example of some such persons president said that every men has some special capabilities and after focusing on them anyone can achieve his goal. He said that Specially challenged persons has proved that problems cannot be bigger than willpower. In convocation programme Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was honoured by Doctor of Letters (D Litt) degree but as he was not present in the programme UP transport minister Swatantra Dev Singh received the degree on behalf of him. Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat governor Om Prakash Kohli and UP governor Ram Naik also addressed the gathering. In his thanking note Jagadguru Rambhadracharya requested that the university should get central university status. Earlier, president Kovind unveiled the statue of renowned social activist Nana Ji Deshmukh in Arogyadham premises. He also released the coffee table book in Deendayal premises. Chandikadas Amritrao Deshmukh also known as Nanaji Deshmukh was a social activist who worked in the fields of education, health, and rural self-reliance, and has been honoured with the Padma Vibhushan. He was a leader of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh and also a member of the Rajya Sabha.
