Illegally transported teak and fresh wood also recovered from the shed
Chronicle Crime Reporter, Bhopal, The Flying Squad of the Bhopal Forests conducted a raid on sawmill operating illegally in Parwalia area on Monday night.
In this action, teak wood that has been transported illegally has also been recovered from the spot. Flying Squad has sealed sawmill at the moment and has begun investigations. Range officer of Bhopal Flying Squad Sunil Verma informed that during the patrolling on Monday evening, we found a sawmill operating suspiciously in a shed on Rasulia Pathar Road in Parwalia area.
During the exploration, it was discovered that owner of that sawmill is a Sarpanch of Jharkhanda village of Sehore district named Suresh Vishwakarma.
During the inspection of the shed it was recovered that the owner did not have the legal permission to run that machine, which was installed in the shed.
During this action, 1.5 cubic meters of teak wood and a chopped fresh tree were also recovered. Owner Suresh Vishwakarma could not answer a satisfactory reply regarding that wood also. Due to the recovery of sawmill running suspiciously without permission and teak and other numbers of wood, sawmill has been sealed with chains. Further investigations are going on in the case.
According to Ranger Sunil Verma, Wildlife Warden of Bhopal, Asif Hasan, Deputy Ranger of Flying Squad RK Chaturvedi, Mehboob Khan, Ramkishan Malaviya, Nagendra Mishra, Yashwant Parihar, Devender Sharma, Hinchalal Patel, Chandrika Katare were present during the action.
