Tumakuru, Karnataka, Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy on Thursday categorically stated that he had taken the reigns of the State not to score a personal point, but to steer the State, which is in cross roads, to the path of development
Talking to newsmen here, he said that the continuance of the JD(S) Congress coalition government would depend much on how both the partners behave and appealed to them to show large-heartedness in the interest of the State setting aside the personal agenda. He said he would not indulge in hate politics.
Reiterating that he was a circumstantial child and had taken the onus of leading the State after several leaders of the Congress held discussions with him and to avoid a catastrophe.
He said that he already had experience of running the State for 20 months 12 years ago and the people have welcomed it and he was no novice to administration,
He said during his address in the Assembly tomorrow during the motion of confidence he would like to bring to the notice certain things both to the BJP and the Congress. He however did not elaborate on them.
He declined to comment on issues relating to continuation of various projects, but said that he would make every effort to stop corruption and irregularities in various projects, including irrigation works.
Replying to a question he said projects would be taken up to provide water to the starved plains region of the State.
