Home Minister Umashankar Gupta laid foundation stones for 3 construction works costing Rs. 46 lakh here today. Under Mukhyamantri Adhosanrachna Vikas Karyakram, roads will be asphalted at a cost of Rs. 13 lakh at Nehru Nagar in ward number 26, Rs. 18 lakh at near Ram Mandir at Kamla Nagar in ward 25 and Rs. 15 lakh at Prempura in ward 24.
Home Minister Gupta said that development works are state government’s priority. He said that problems never end. State government is redressing problems constantly.
Gupta said that GDP of Madhya Pradesh is 10.2 percent against country’s 5.2 percent. This proves government’s commitment to development.
He said that state government does not chalk out public welfare schemes on the basis of caste and religion, but for poor people of all sections of society.
